“This is and will become such a meaningful memory of my career and the place I am in life. Your sensitivity of what you shose to put in and my dancing shots were so meaningful. I could feel the care and appreciation coming from you as you edited. Thank you so much to have given me the opportunity to tell my story and to have made it so beautiful,” said Vinicius Lima, artist of Ballet West.

Alisa Vvedenskaia

Alisa was born and raised in the coastal city of Vladivostok, Russia. Her parents instilled a boundless love of photography and travel in her from a young age. Her father loved to explore new parts of the world and would travel plan for the family while her mother captured memories through photos of their adventures. It inspired Alisa to pursue her degree in Film and Media Arts at the University of Utah while living and studying in both South Korea and United States of America.

Her camera became a way to capture meaningful moments and connect with people through photography and videography. Alisa’s curiosity and love for exploring new environments led her to intern with Ballet West in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she worked as a videographer and photographer on creative projects used for promotional purposes. She later fulfilled a childhood dream by working as a photographer at Camps Kenwood & Evergreen, inspired by the American summer camps she admired growing up.

Alisa continues to develop her skills in documentary photography and visual storytelling. She recently completed a photo documentary course at Docdocdoc in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she focused on capturing people in real-life settings that reflect their professions, passions, and everyday experiences.

Alisa is currently pursuing a master’s degree at New York University, where she is studying Digital Marketing and expanding her practice by combining creative storytelling with strategy, research, and audience engagement.
